Pilgrimage Poster
This year it is the turn of Cornwall Deanery and Launceston Parish to be the focus of our annual Diocesan Pilgrimage. The Pilgrimage will be a good opportunity to thank God for our Catholic Faith and to witness publically to it.

• From 2.30 pm: assemble in the Town Hall, Launceston. Seats and toilets available. There is a large car park behind the Town Hall and smaller ones can be found in the town centre.

Process to Castle Green for Mass at 3.00 pm. Bishop Christopher will preside. Bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on. If wet we will use the Town Hall.

Return to the Town Hall for a short briefing.

The prayer walk is optional. Pilgrims not wishing to go on the walk may drive to St Cuthbert Mayne church where there are parking spaces. The church and hall will be open all afternoon.

The prayer walk should take approximately one hour. Pilgrims will be provided with a detailed town map, an itinerary and suggestions for prayers and intentions.

Prayer walkers should aim to arrive at St Cuthbert Mayne church by 5.30 pm when there will be Benediction and an opportunity to venerate the relics of St Cuthbert Mayne and St Thérèse of Lisieux.

Refreshments will be available afterwards in the Charles Langdon Room (church hall).

Lifts will be available to return pilgrims to the town centre, if required.

St. Cuthbert Mayne's Feast Day is 29th November
